My Hometown Poem #114
Beautiful ode to Jen.
Thanks, Margi.
Simply beautiful. A hopeful moon.
Truly.
Thanks, Andy. Too much death. Talked to Libby recently and sounds like Beth's kids are doing ok.
Beautiful. These words especially speak to where I am....
Time will heal, they say, but
I disagree. Time simply passes
and the moon keeps moving
in her phases, pulling us
along from shadow to light.
Today she has reemerged,
a sliver, a glimmer, a tiny hook
hanging in the darkest night,
taking a first step toward fullness,
expanding, increasing.
Thank you, JD. I appreciate your comment!
lovely
Thank you, Ardyth!
Lovely. I'll go watch the moon tonight...
It's already breathtaking even at dusk.
Mind reader...
(and unintended guilt tripper! I need to get back in touch with her. Those kids are terrific. She is too.)
