"How to Care" and "Should Nothing Matter" published in April issue
Dear Readers:
I’m pleased to share that two of my poems, “How to Care” and “Should Nothing Matter,” were featured in the similarly themed April issue of The Coalition. You can read the poems at Suzanna C. de Baca / Two Poems or by clicking the image below.
To note: “How to Care” is uncharacteristically brief for me, but a poem that is very meaningful to me. I will be curious to hear if or how it speaks to you.
“Should Nothing Matter” is a poem that emerged from a class conducted by Kansas Poet Laureate Caryn Miriam-Goldberg. Thank you to Caryn for sparking so much inspiration through her teaching and example.
Thank you so much for your support of my work. I enjoy your reactions and always welcome your feedback.

Both were thought and feeling provoking, moving me deeper.
“When you can still go home” slayed me. A wall of memories washed over my memory.
