Your imagery offers a beautiful contrast with the snow-covered parking lot, trees and houses around me. The only wild life--a brave walker leaning into the snow.
BEAUTIFUL! A neighbor and I have asked the birds and squirrels to hold on for one more day...until we get sunshine...and we feel like going outside to clean the snow from the feeders.
The snow drifts on the way to the feeders pushed me to order feeders that could be relocated to an area that's closer to a sheltered spot...for me to navigate...and where I can continue to watch their antics.
wonderful writing on your observations of life and nature. You just corrected everyone who has warned about lack of visibility due to blowing snow-on the contrary, you captured many sights

Thank you, Diane! I brave the walk early but use good judgment!
That poem is SO good. Just right for right now!
Thanks, Chuck! Appreciate the comment! Stay warm.
Very nice Suzanna - you are a braver soul than I!
Long underwear, insulated boots, parka! All of it! I like the fresh air even if short walk.
A Cedar waxwing! I haven't encountered one waxwing in decades, always in flocks, which I take to be angel visitations! I'm glad this one found you.
It was not alone! Thank you, Karen.
A lovely portrait of our days!
Thank you, Elizabeth!

Thank you, Amazon!
The birds and squirrels know how to seek shelter. We are not always as clever. Thank you for your comments!

Thank you, Ralph. There is much to see always, even when there is no visibility!
That last line was perfect!
Thank you, Charles! Stay warm!
Lovely
Thank you Becky. I hope you are bundled up somewhere.

Thanks, Sue. It's beautiful but treacherous out there.
