Love it!… We’ve got our coral bells in shade. They seem to be very happy there. Conversations with plants seem to be calming. You can’t think about things that worry you!
Oh great, now I feel really guilty for neglecting my garden. Guess I'd better get out today and ask my plants how they're doing. Such a fun poem any gardener can relate to.
Oh, I got that, I've just been feeling guilty anyway. I haven't spent enough time on my gardens lately so I need to get out there. But there are many layers to any poem just as there are to gardens, right?
Love heuchera, and I have pulled my share of coneflowers in my time, too!
Thank you, Cheryl!
Just lovely. I’ll be talking to my heuchera (and other plants) as I work with them this afternoon.
I hope they tell you their needs!
Talking in the garden♥️ connection
Thank you, Carol!
This was fun to read!
Thanks and great to see you this week!
This is going into my gardening notebook with all the other sage (yes, that is a pun) advice I've collected! Thank you.
Good pun! I am flattered you would include the poem in your notebook! Xxoo

Mine are in part shade. They seem pretty happy but the coneflowers are taking over and blocking the sun! Plant conversations are indeed calming.
I love your garden references--colors, shapes, life, death, change, and now a very profound plant conversation. :-)
A big compliment coming from you— a gardener and writer!
The joy of plants is underrated. Thanks for the reminder.
Now is a great time to enjoy the plants!
How lovely: listening to nature!
She is pretty loud but we tend to ignore her! She has needs!

No guilt intended. Was more metaphorical than actually about the plant.

Exactly!
Thank you! Indeed plants can bring so much joy, especially this time of year? Si miraculous.
