Love heuchera, and I have pulled my share of coneflowers in my time, too!

Just lovely. I’ll be talking to my heuchera (and other plants) as I work with them this afternoon.

This is going into my gardening notebook with all the other sage (yes, that is a pun) advice I've collected! Thank you.

Love it!… We’ve got our coral bells in shade. They seem to be very happy there. Conversations with plants seem to be calming. You can’t think about things that worry you!

Mine are in part shade. They seem pretty happy but the coneflowers are taking over and blocking the sun! Plant conversations are indeed calming.

I love your garden references--colors, shapes, life, death, change, and now a very profound plant conversation. :-)

Oh great, now I feel really guilty for neglecting my garden. Guess I'd better get out today and ask my plants how they're doing. Such a fun poem any gardener can relate to.

No guilt intended. Was more metaphorical than actually about the plant.

Oh, I got that, I've just been feeling guilty anyway. I haven't spent enough time on my gardens lately so I need to get out there. But there are many layers to any poem just as there are to gardens, right?
