Have always loved stargazing since my dad introduced it to me as a young kid. Got to teach some of the legends when I worked at a nature center in New Hampshire. Have wonderful memories of staring up at the sky to see shooting stars, hale bop in Joshua Tree, and hoping for an aurora. Love how you have captured the wonder of it all here. Thanks.

Wondrous, the first word to come to mind as I read this. You expertly pulled me in with your treacherous drive, then walk, down the dirt road. What danger or curiosity is she leading me to? I wondered. What better way to guide us to the light in the darkness than to take us down a dark road to discover our own galaxy?

Lovely come hither description. I am an astrologer - the cosmos, stars and planets are my territory --- loved it!
