This poem probably hits home for a lot of people. It is to those people I wish to say, pay attention to this and believe me when I say there is another side to get to. It may be a long way ahead, but it is there. I know because I made it.
When I read your poems now, I think how awful that you haven’t been publishing or sharing them sooner! I love poetry, but can’t write it myself. You sure can, and your poems seem to reflect such real Iowa living. Keep ‘em coming, please.
