I have come out of the darkness A small glimmer Of light road Well signed Appears I sigh, gratefully, For the night has been a Year And I lived by the shadow’s Reflection. I steered towards Where I thought the North Star Should be Might be. This was the last fighting For I came to Love the night I did not roll in it I came to sleep To be in it To find my way in sitting And waiting Not knowing if the light would come Not asking for it Not caring Merely sitting in darkness I found light in the Moonlit sound Of my own heartbeat.
